The Gateway

Welcome to the Gateway page! The Gateway is a mouse movement game made using Microsoft PowerPoint. Shapes move around the screen and the player must navigate the mouse through them to reach the gateway to the next level. This page contains links to all of the versions. Enjoy!

How to Play:
You will need PowerPoint 2007, or at least the PowerPoint viewer. Don't use PowerPoint 2003. It may appear to be working, but will have unexpected behavior. Download the 2007 viewer here.
Once you have either the full version or the viewer installed, simply download one of the versions below, click "view slideshow", and then have fun!
If you are experiencing a lot of skipping (poor performance), try going into the "Slide Show" menu and click "Setup Show." Check the box that says "Use Hardware Graphics Acceleration." This will cause PowerPoint to use your graphics card which will greatly improve graphics quality. If you still are experiencing poor performance, you will probably need to play the Gateway on a computer with a faster processor or video card.

The Gateway Files:
The Gateway was created in 2007. It has three main zones (red, blue, and green) and also a rather difficult black zone.

The Gateway 2 has three zones (white, orange, and purple) and another vicious black zone. It was finished in April 2008.

The Gateway: Midnight has five very hard levels. It was designed for people who wanted a bigger challenge than the Gateway 1 or 2 offered. It was finished in December 2008.
